ActorBase is for anyone interested in things infront of the camera, not just actors and presenters but everyone associated - so agents, make up artists, gossip mongers, celeb spotters, everyone.

The concept for ActorBase began way, way, waaaaaay back in 2001! Yes you did read that right, that's 12 years ago as we write. The site was only ever half built but due to lack of funds (i.e. paid work had to take priority!) it was never launched - where would it be now if it were actually launched back then! Ok, not quite as big as Facebook but probably bigger than it is today :) Since then it has remained on hard drive gathering virtual dust... until now :) Time to resurrect the idea and have a play. Check out our Twitter account, lots going on there, we'll build out this site in the background for now.

We're passionate about acting so this really is a labour of love, we hope you enjoy the site as much as we enjoy writing for it.
